Prof.Sara Martín Alegre : “I am organizing the academic activities in relation to the 2016 Eurocon to be held in Barcelona in November a year from now and I’m launching a Call for Papers in relation with this pan-european event.
As you know, EUROCON is a convention of the fandom but there will be at least 5 academic panels :
2 in Spanish on the „post-modern monstrous” and the science fiction in Latin America and Spain, coordinated by Sergi Viciana, and 3 in English that I’m coordinating: trans / post-humanism, gender and SF, and university SF teaching.
One can also make paper proposals even the approach and the tonality are not strictly academic.

Como sabeis se trata de una convención del fandom pero habrá al menos 5 mesas redondas académicas: 2 en castellano sobre el monstruo post-moderno y la CF en Latinoamérica y España, que coordina Sergi Viciana, y 3 en inglés que llevo yo misma: trans/post-humanismo, género y CF, y la enseñanza de la CF en la universidad.
Igualmente se pueden hacer propuestas siempre que el tono de la actividad sea divulgativo y no estrictamente académico.
